Kat Dennings, born Katherine Victoria Litwack on June 13th 1986, in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania was the firstborn child of Gerald and Ellen Dennings. Ellen Dennings, her mother and a speech therapist, and Gerald was her father, and was a professor at the college. Dennings is the youngest of five siblings, and born to an orthodox Jewish parent and father, is an accomplished actress. Dennings attended homeschooling, and attended school only briefly. Because she was trying to become an actor from an early age it was logical to have her homeschooled. the most sense as she had the ability to complete high school by the age of 14. At the age of nine old, she began performing in commercials for television. Then she moved into Los Angeles with her family following high school in order to study acting. She began auditioning under the name Kat Dennings. Kat Dennings acting debut after her move to LA was when she appeared on the HBO series "Sex and the City" in 2000. Kat Dennings was a part of "Sex and City" in HBO.
