Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10 of 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to the accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker as well as former worker in the factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. She was one of three sisters. Stone began second grade in kindergarten when she was five. Saegertown School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the high school she attended. Her graduation was in 1975. Stone also participated for the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, winning Miss Crawford County. Stone together with her aunt, in 1977 made the move to New Jersey for a modeling job. She was signed by Ford Modeling Agency a week after. The next stage was Europe in the course of a year residing within Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone, however, became frustrated with modeling and acting in Europe. She decided to pursue her career as an actress while she lived there. Stone was in Woody Allen's movie "Stardust Memories" when he was twenty. The film was met with mixed reviews.
