Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began when she was 14 years old. As well as BJJ classes as well, she was also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. When she was 18, Ladd made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. The next time she fought, she won in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability took down McGill, and she was able to end her third round via TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy as a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in 2nd round via TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the last fight for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks in a unanimous decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place at UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by grounding and pounding her before prevailing by TKO in second round. Her next fight, against Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd defeated Evinger with a punch during the initial round, and earned a Performance of the Night bonus. Her first major fight came with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd was the winner of the night's main event fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in a fierce fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya lost in the 3rd round at UFC 7 on ESPN. In a recent match replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
