Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American producer stage and screen actress best recognized for her roles in films in Ray Undercover Brother and on the TV show The Mentalist. She is a graduate of the BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actress and producer who is actively involved in theater, film, as well as television. Her acting journey began with theater, and was later featured in several shows on television as well as independent and mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. In BET's massive show The Book of Negroes she appeared.
